What is Varna dosha? The first attribute compares the varna or caste of the bride and groom. The varna of the groom should be equal to or higher than the varna of the bride. This aspect also throws light on the mental compatibility between the two.Varna - it is the classification of people in four categories namely Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra.It determines the propensities of individuals marrying. As we know there are four varnas Brahmana, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra. These show the spiritual compatibility of the guy and girl and the effect of their ego on the relationship. In any case, the Varna of the groom should be higher than that of the bride to get a point. The potential couple who gets the one point in the Varna will be based on the combination of the different Varna mentioned in the table above. 🥁Effects of Varna Dosha

  • The Varna Koota holds a nominal effect in the matters of marriage compatibility when compared to the other parameters of kundli matching like Gana matching, Nadi matching, Yoni matching or Graha Maitri. A bad Varna matching is not a problem for the married life if other compatibility factors score very well.

🥁Cancellation of Varna Dosha | ​Doshas Cancellation Varna:

  • ​(1) The Rashi (Moon sign) lord of both the partners is either a common planet (this happens when both have the same Rashi) or the lords are friend to each other.
